A lot of sophisticated electronic equipments are needed in the petroleum, geologicalexploration.The inclinometer plays a key role in measuring drilling parameters throughout theborehole trajectory such as the inclination, azimuth,tool face angle and so on. In order toimprove the accuracy and anti-interference of the inclinometer, it utilizes a new type of sensor,the continuous inclinometer system, which is designed based on the MCU control.Based on the basic principle of inclinometer technique, it establishes a mathematicalmodel of measuring parameters after the mathematical calculation and analysis,Further more,it deduces the calculation formula of drilling trajectory parameters which based on the Eulertransform calculation and then deduces the calculation formula of the parameters of theinclinometer.The hardware design includes four parts,data acquisition, MCU control, DSP solution,communication of the PC program and the microcontroller program.In the part of the dataacquisition, It introduces the the characteristics and working principle of the twosensors,which are used in the system, three axis orthogonal accelerometers ADXL330andthree orthogonal fluxgate HMC5883L.And then it designs the AD sampling circuit, which isused to complete the conversion of analog signals.In the part of MCU control,it uses the MCUSTC12C5A60S2as the core control device to perform sampling and communication control.Meanwhile,it utilizes the TMS320F28335DSP and MCU togather,and uses DSP as a solver tocomplete calculation after the parameter acquisition, so as to improve the precision and speedof calculation. It also uses communication standard of RS485serial to perform thecommunication between the PC program and the microcontroller program.In the software design,the PC program includes control program, calculation programand serial communication program, which based on the use of MCU and developmentsoftware corresponding DSP respectively. The functions of it are designed in module,programmed in C language based on simple and efficient principle. The microcontroller program which is programmed in Visual c++language, is used to receive the data and storageand display, the user interface is simple, easy to operate.After debugging the hardware and software design of the system, the system is carriedout in the lab tests,and the conclusion is that the system works well and operates stably.Measurement accuracy of Angle error is plus or minus0.2°or less, azimuth error is plus orminus2°or less,which meet the detection requirements for general, and have certainapplication reference value.
