Strap-down inertial navigation system is largely use in fields such as aviation, aerospaceand military. For the advantage of self alignment and strong anti-shock, strap-down inertialnavigation system is suitable for inclinometer. Inclinometer usually used on measuring thetrack of wells. Strap-down inertial navigation system already use on inclinometer, but for thereason of price and volume of sensor, it is not complete strap-down inertial navigationsystem. Compare with the price of inclinometer, the Price of inertial components especiallyof Fiber Optic Gyroscope is expensive relatively. The other reason is the volume of three axisinertial sensor is too large to put into inclinometer. So it is not fully sued on inclinometer.With the decrease of price and increase of integration degree of precise inertial components,strap-down inertial navigation system is fit for inclinometer.In this paper, after analysis of some kinds of inclinometer. Discuss how the strap-downinertial navigation system is use in inclinometer. Integrate Fiber Optic Gyroscope seriesinclinometer of china Asit technology CO LTO. We introduce Fiber Optic Gyroscope seriesinclinometer using complete strap-down inertial navigation system.Nubbin components of this Fiber Optic Gyroscope series inclinometer are there-axisFiber Optic Gyroscope and three-axis accelerometer. To fit for inclinometer, We use stateself align algorism, adopt strap-down algorism which suitable for down hole condition,introduce orientation cosine algorithm, the four order Runge-Kutta algorithm and the rotationvector algorithm. The comparison between them was provided and verified: It is someadvantages to use the four order Runge-Kutta algorithm.Analyze all kings of error source and its effect on inclinometer systematic accuracy.More customary modeling temperature drift to compensate for errors and the location anddirection, the system according to the method for compensation system, and the locationaccuracy got a raise.
