Design And Research Of Smart Home System Based On GSM And ZigBee Technology

Smart home relies on the place we live in, taking advantage of communications technology,information appliances, automation technology.To build a high efficiency, energy saving, safe andconvenient living environment for people to live. The article by virtue of these to set up a system inthe household which combin with GSM short message and ZigBee wireless communicationtechnology.The system has almost realized the monitoring task about Electrical equipment andenvironment in family. STC89C51RC micro controller as control center is adopted in this system,the ZigBee wireless communication module to form a family internal network and GSM shortmessage module to the family internal networking equipment for remote control.This thesis studies the application of ZigBee technology in the family.There are severmodules in this system.The thesis research conducted through mobile phone text messages toremotely controlled. ZigBee modules to set up a communication network for communicationwithin the family.This thesis mainly launches the research according to the following several parts:Firstly, this thesis introduces the definition of smart home and its advantages, analyzes thecomposition of smart home system, introduced current research situation both at home and abroadas well as the necessity of the study, expounds the development status of smart home and thecomparison of some technology of smart home. Through the comparison to illustrate thesuperiority of using GSM and ZigBee network.Secondly, this thesis detailed introduces the main chips used in the system, Analysis andcomparison of the key technologies used in smart home system. Obtain a result that the ZigBeenetwork technology is best fit for domestic wireless communication standard, the next step in-depth study the structure of the ZigBee protocol stack, to understand the ZigBee structure of eachlayer, and build what kind of communication network by ZigBee technology.Finally, from the perspective of applied research and design the intelligent household system,designing a smart home system based on ZigBee wireless network, to complete the remote controlof home electric equipment with GSM and ZigBee.
