With the emergence of the super large-scale integrated circuit, SCM (Single Chip Microcomputer) and its outer chips as well as the electro-slag furnace system controlled by SCM have been developed quickly. In the refinery process, the key of influencing quality of melt and wasting of the electric power and efficiency is to control the electrode. At the same time, for increasing the metallurgic automatic level and alleviating the worker's labor strength and increasing product quantity and promoting economy energy and increasing economic performance, we adopt SCM to control the electro-slag furnace. The main purpose of electro-slag remelting is to lift the pure metals, and obtain the fine steel tablet that crystallize uniformly, thus acquiring the very high metal alloy steel of quantity.The Basic work principle of electro-slag remelting technology is to make the metals that produce with the common method and are used to be the ego consume electrode inserted into meltdown slag layer, and connect the power supply, then the electric current is arrived the pond of slag by the electrode. As the electric current passing the pond of slag the ejective calories make electrode melt. The electrode metals liquid drop to the slag pond bottom and format metals melted pond. But the metals melted pond is in the water cold metals crystallize machine, then continuously from under heading up the coagulation, thus become the steel tablet. The electro-slag remelting is the two times smelting technique.According to the item requirements, we have researched and designed the electro-slag furnace system controlled by SCM to control electro-slag furnace's refinery in the whole process. All of the parameters of the electro-slag furnace and the type of steel and steel tablet and actual operation parameters are stored in the calculator. We can issue the order of start after the electrode is ready. Electro-slag remelting and filling all can be completed under the control of the computer. All of the circumstance of calculator performance can be showed on the computer screen. We can intervene operation when it is necessary. In order to survey modification, and print the statement of electro-slag remelting in the future, the computer stores the parameters of electro-slag remelting after electro-slag remelting is completed. The whole electro-slag remelting process is almost the unmanned operation.The main functions of the system are as follows:1.Set up the record time of production freely;2.Choose the shape of crystal-machine(the shape of steel);3.Set up the weight limit of extraction;4.Control the stability of remelting electric current and electric voltage automatically;5.Alarm the position of malfunction;6.Rise and fall of the electrode automatically;7.Extract the steel tablet automatically.8751 SCM is the core of the system, at the same time corresponding auxiliary interface circuit configured. The assembly language is used in order to compile the program of an electro-slag furnace controlled system by SCM. The system has printed on four pieces of PC boards, therefore, we can control electrode and the extraction of tablet.The thesis is divided into totally 7 Chapter, which can be summarized into four parts.Part 1: Introduce total design project of the system. Chapter 1: we clarified the purpose and meanings of the technique of the electro-slag furnace controlled by SCM, and the electro-slag remelting concept and its development history. Because the technique of the electro-slag furnace is a typical application system of SCM, therefore in this chapter, we introduce the control system of SCM in details. In chapter 2, according to the system function requirements, we carry on the total project argument. We mainly introduced the design environment and the design projects of the system and the each chip.
