The Construction Of Post-Subculture Theory For Internet Study

More and more research all have been being in attempt to prove and to present theInternet‘decentralized condition, and even more multiplex subculture participates inconstructing the contradictory complex compound. Consequently, the previous pattern, akind of dual opposition theory,―the approval-opposition‖, was already obsolete, thatcould not explain this kind of multicultural ecology. Constructing a more inclusiveInternet culture theory appears urgently. This article attempts to prove the Internet culturepossessing subcultural nature, and on this basis, to construct a post-subculture frame forthe Internet culture analysis, which would be a new tool for the Internet research.This article has mainly applied the subculture theory and the post-subculture theory.Taking the traditional subculture theory as the reference system, This article constructs amore comprehensive post-subculture theory. Simultaneously, embarking from thepost-modernity angle of view, this article proves the Internet culture system isdecentralized, combining to the post-subculture theory. In the process of the research, thisarticle has intensively discussed three factors, the relationship between subculture and themainstream, relations of subordination between individual and the subculture, the s tylesignificance. Also these three factors are essential elements of the traditional subculturetheory. Embarking from these three factors, it is advantageous to broken, but also helpfulin constructing. In view of each aspect, firstly this article summar izes evidence ofpost-subculture theory from the passing research literature, then, specifically analysissome concrete research case, which vividly demonstrates the necessity and possibility ofpost-subculture theory application.Finally, this article presented a view of post-subculture theory in the study of Internet,what is more, in the way of treating Internet culture, it is important to sets up a moreinclusive attitude developing from a multi-dimensional contradictory ethics.
