As technology of cloud computing is becoming mature, the advantage of virtualdesktop reflects gradually. Users access to the resources of servers via virtual desktop.It’s beneficial for managing resources centrally, ensuring the security of data andoperating on resources easily. But it needs bandwidth with a large amount. How toguarantee the best experience of users is still a big challenge in the bad network s,especially when transmitting audio and image resources from cloud to user desktop.The management scheme is proposed for virtualized desktop. Audio and imageresources are compressed efficiently. They are transmitted in independent channelsbuilt by the system. Audio element is classified by frequency. But, music and soundare compressed by vorbis and speex. Image is classified by the structural informationof image blocks. Natural image and textual image are compressed by jpeg and pngdynamically. The system adopts the method of screen’s comparison to decrease thedata. The rich media resources will be transmitted with optimized priority scheme.They will be divided into small blocks. Resource blocks are also added priority toimprove the experience of users and real-time requirements.The system has finished the virtual desktop that users can visit to via browser.It’s cross-platform. The experiment shows that the image data is reduced by20%compared with original type. Users can enjoy music on the virtual desktop with the100ms delay. The management scheme improves the real time response and the bestexperience of users.
