With the development of modern industry,the traditional pressure detection methods can not meet the requirements of the manufacture,and most of natural gas detections still use mechanical meters. Operators have to be sent to check the mechanical pressure meter, but you can’t memorize a lot of pressure, thus without the data being stored, you can’t analyze the pressure data or find the systems failure immediately. So, we are now in desperate need of a new method of pressure detection to take the place of the traditional ones.Based on the forward problem, in this thesis, we put forward an electronic pressure record method based on the low power consuming MCU and RF modules. This Design uses the RF to realize the meter reading function.Wireless communication can work without physical touch, so it can avoid the spark caused the physical plugging, thus realize the function of its explosion proof. In order to reduce system current consumption, this essay uses the least power MCU. As it has the on-chip RTC, and we use it to realize the time keeping function without any additional clock chip, thus reduces power consumption. As for the hardware, this essay also uses some low-power techniques, we use the low-power LDO in the design, and we also use the electronic switch to reduce power consumption. As the RF module will consume large power when it works in listening state, this essay put forward a Infrared detection and RF Transmission method to reduce the power consumed in wireless communication, the design uses the Infrared to shake hand with the hand-operating machine, then uses the RF to transmit pressure data.Based on this idea, this design is mainly based the EFM32GG980F1024and nRF24L01to build the entire hardware platform, coupled with the pressure sensor with temperature compensation function and the infrared communication circuit. We also design one low power handsheet machine using the same MCU, and it can communicate with the pressure meter using the RF module. Using the hardware platform we build and the hand-operating machine, we took a test on the system performance,and it shows that the power consumption is300uA,and the meter’s accuracy can measure up to0.5level.
