Because the newspaper market has developed deeply nowadays, various distributionways which are diversity, marketing and socializational appear, Baotou daily newspaperdistribution LTD is the only one which has acquired warrant to distribute publications inInner Mongolia. But it encounters many difficulties and problems like management system,human resources, organization structure when established in2010. In this case this researchon development strategy of this company will have a great significance.The study utilizes a comprehensive analysis of strategic analysis tools on Baotou dailynewspaper distribution LTD ’s internal and external environment, and identifies the variouskey strategic factors, uses the SWOT analysis method to form a strategic choice matrix. Inorder to get a more accurate and realistic results, this study introduces the AHP-SWOTmodel on the basis of the traditional SWOT analysis to further calculate the total intensity ofstrategic programs, strategic focus and strategic azimuth, and builds a strategic quadrilateralto obtain the company’s strategic strength coefficient, finally determines the type of thecompany’s strategy and strategic strength. In order to avoid the AHP-SWOT model for theweight of over-reliance on, this article also introduces entropy method to construct a strategicchoice model based on entropy method, and obtains the coefficient of the economic benefitsof the strategic program, and the results show that the company should adopt a positivedevelop strategies used in the distribution network, policy support and other advantages,deepen delivery service, to seize the newspaper industry professional category steady growthopportunities, and introduce the higher margin products in issue. In this study, we not onlydetermine the strategic proposal on the basis of quantitative, but also combine with the actualcircumstances of Baotou daily newspaper distribution LTD to find out company mission andstrategic objectives, and on this basis, from the introduction of "integrated marketing",developing personalized digital technology, focusing on team building, extending the chainof distribution industry as a series of development strategy implementation measures. Inorder to ensure the effective implementation of the development strategy, we further propose the regulation on safeguard of the implementation of the strategy.The article tries to use theoretical and empirical research method to analyze and explorea set of Baotou daily newspaper distribution LTD ’s effective development strategy, so as toensure long-term stable development, at the same time this article also have some referencesto other enterprises with the similar industry development strategy research.
