Along with the continuous development of Web Services technologies, how todiscover services automatically, accurately and efficiently has become the researchhotspot in the Service-Oriented Computing field. Because of the lack of semanticdescription of Web services, efficiency of discovering services becomes worse. So wedescribe Web services via constructing ontology semantic description specification.Although the Web Services Semantic Reasoning Mechanism based on OWL-Simproves the efficiency of discovering Web services, this method needs parsing thefiles of Web services description, and adding semantic annotations. Therefore, thispaper will use the Semantic Retrieval Model of Web Services to achieve deep sharingChinese Medical informational resources, from the aspects of constructing domainontology and mapping with semantic metadata.Currently informational resources in the virtual organization of ChineseMedicine are increasing rapidly, and have the characteristics of the numerous category,wide distribution, and low informationization level. The lack of informationstandardization and knowledge specification has led to the informational resources notshared in the whole Chinese Medicine industry chain. Similar resources in distributedheterogeneous resources environment have led to the ambiguity of understandingdifferent physical description of Web services.This thesis has mainly studied the Web Services Discovering Model from theconstruction of domain ontology, the mapping of semantic metadata, the matching ofontology similarity, the on-demand dynamic choosing of virtual services, and thesemantic matching of Web services in five aspects. It has vital importance to improvethe accuracy of discovering Web services, and meet the end-users’ business demands.The main research contents of this paper include:(1) For promoting the goal of Chinese medicine modernization, these entities,which are responsible for traditional Chinese medicine, pharmaceutical processing,scientific research, distribution, and industry management tasks, and theircorresponding resources, is forming a typical virtual organization (VO) oriented totraditional Chinese medicine (TCM) industry. This paper will learn the domainknowledge in virtual organization, extract the domain concepts, and construct domain ontology specification; use resources unified description method for realizing thesharing of resources to provide unambiguous meaning.(2) Domain ontology of OWL format directly stored in the relational database inthe form of RDF triples. And the service metadata is mapped with the domainontology. By Jena technology Chinese medicine domain ontology library is retrieved,and Web services are discovered.(3) The Web Services Virtualization Mechanism is set up to meet the end-users’business requirements changing of virtual services model. By establishing virtualservices, Web services are selected on-demand and dynamically.
