Ontology is a philosophical concept originally, and it describes the natures of objects.in1980's,scientific researchers introduced ontology into the field of artificial intelligence(AI),so ontology has new meanings. In the fields of computer science, ontology is a formal specification of a shared conceptualization. The main purpose of applying ontology is knowledge sharing and reusing.Researchers propose many criteria for buiding ontology. The criterion proposed by T.R Gruber is one of the most influential. It includes five regulations: clarity and objectivity, coherence, completeness, maximal, extendibility, minimal commitment. Ontology mapping is an effective method to realize the interopration and share of heterogeneous ontologies. In this thesis, the current ontology mapping method has been carried out research and analysis, focused on the method of calculation based on the similarity. Now mostly based on the similarity of Ontology mapping method focus on how to calculate of the concept of similarity to determine the mapping between quickly and effectively. In this paper, the similarity calculation method, in accordance with the various relationships between concepts, take into account the impact of already established mapping experience on the unsolved concept similarity, and proposed a method based on the ontology axiom to verify the results of mapping methods to ensure the accuracy of the mapping under the premise of effectively improve the mapping speed. In this paper, in addition to identify the equal and similar concepts, and further considerate the Sub-class and Super-class relationship between mapping concepts. In the calculation of the concept of similarity, we integrate the name similarity, attributes similarity, and examples similarity, to judge two different ontology of the concept of similarity.
