With the rapid development of science and technology, the machine visionapplication areas are more extensive, compared with foreign countries, China startedlate in machine vision research, application field is mainly in the form of traditionalmachine vision systems, because the machine vision system structure of traditionalcomplex, large volume, high cost factors, in some areas, the use of the price is not high.While the industrial intelligent camera compared to traditional machine vision systemhas great advantages in some aspects, but progress is slow, therefore, industrialintelligent camera has been paid more and more attention.This paper presents an industrial intelligent camera system based on DSP. Thesystem using linear CCD image sensor to capture images, processed by DSP imagecollected, through the analysis of image features to determine the inspection object isgood or bad, at the same time, DSP sends control signals to the actuators, in order toachieve a set of intelligent detection system. The whole system is composed of apower supply module, signal acquisition module, data processing module,communication interface module and software module, power supply module providesthe voltage required by the system through the voltage conversion chip, imagecollection and image of the ADC signal acquisition module, data processing modulehas the advantages of fast computing speed, can realize high speed image processingoperations, communication interface module is responsible for image display andcontrol signal output, software module has two main parts: using the CCD driver andAD9945Verilog in HDL language, and the use of open source OpenCV imageprocessing library, prepared for image processing algorithms procedures of lithiumbattery pole piece defect detection. This paper introduces the design scheme, DSPindustrial intelligent camera system hardware and the function of each part is based onthe principle, and discusses the algorithm for visual detection in DSP implementation.Under the condition of laboratory, the lithium battery pole piece as detectionobject, the image signal acquisition and operation with industrial intelligent camera, and the image information operation after the output is analyzed. Experiments showthat, the industrial intelligent camera has the advantages of high integration, simplealgorithm, fast operation speed, meet the design requirements.
