If the data statistics under the full samples about the students’ scores and the score foreach question is analyzed after course examinations taken by all the students in a same grade,the feedback information on the quality of teaching, which is based on the differentdemographic groups, for example, the students from a whole district or from a school or justfrom a class, can be acquired. The feedback information will enable district educationadministrations to supervise the practical instruction in all subjects, which will ensure toefficiently improve teaching quality. Therefore, the construction of school subject teachingperformance system for analyzing examination scores and the students’ answers to paperquestions becomes an important research approach for monitoring and analyzing subjectteaching performances in a district.The STPMAS (Subject Teaching Performance Monitoring and Analysis System) systemdescribed in this paper is kind of B/S structure web application which is developed by.NETFramework technology. The development design thinking&function orientation about thissystem are follows:1. According to the detailed demanding requirements analysis, firstly, wecan define logical use case models for system development, and then define the systemfunctions struction. Lastly, we consider that the whole system should be composed of fivesub-systems which are school information maintenance, knowledge space management,teaching performance analysis, system users management and user login control.2.According to the management model of subjects examination in a district, business flows canbe designed. So, according to the business processes about setting exam, inputting score,exam analysis, generating reports, etc. we can design the business flows of the system in detail and construct correlative application framework.3. After the construction,the systemcan not only implement subjects teaching performance monitoring but also can display allkinds of analysis data with lists. In addition the system can show the conclusions of the examanalysis apparently with various statistical analysis chats generated by plugged-in chatcomponents. And these can help users to read and understand the meaning of the analysisdata about subjects teaching performance based on exams.Based on the Luwan district school subject teaching performance monitoring andanalysis system project development practice, this paper describes the theories aboutconstructing the school subject teaching performance system and data processing algorithmused to execute statistical analysis. According to the functional requirements description andbusiness process analysis, the paper describes the system function modules composition fromdesign to implementation in detail. Because the software system discussed in this paperapplies UML for modeling, so some activity diagrams and sequence diagrams about settingexam use case and defining examination paper use case are recited in this paper in order toexplain how to use UML behavior diagrams to analyze and design system dynamic behaviors.Data modeling by drawing E-R diagrams is adopted to create data models of the systemdatabases in database design. So all primary entities and the relationships between theseentities in system are described in this paper, and the design and implementation of thesystem database logical structure are elaborately described too. Furthermore the detailedintroduction to the ASP.NET3layers architecture design and framework implementation ofthe system can also be found in this paper. And the inputting score functional module, whichis used to input original scores of all questions in each examination paper and calculate totalscore of each examination paper, is recited to explain the application and implementation of3layers architecture design in the system explicitly.The developed STPMAS system described in this paper has had positive effect oneducation management and teaching adjustment for district education administrativedepartment and teaching business administrative department in terms of its practicalapplication.
