Research On Effect Of Blanket Jamming On BER Of Satellite Navigation Signals

In modern warfare, satellite navigation systems have became the key of pinpoint strikes，accurate troop carry, precise command and control for enemy. If greatest degree interferingenemy’s satellite navigation system, meanwhile improve our navigation abilities, the whole warsituation will be affect directly. Therfore，research on interference technology to satellitenavigation system has great actual value.This thesis mainly study on blanket jamming, PSK-R and BOC signal as interference subjects,classic power spectral density theory and Monte Carlo simulation are used to analysis effect ofBER of the optimum blanket jamming on navigation satellite signals. The main researchcontents will be shown as followings.1) Blanket jamming including Broadband noise, partial band noise, auto regressive, single tone,multiple tone and pulse are modeled. The characteristics of their auto-correlation function andpower spectral density are summarized. The power spectral density and auto-correlationfunction for PSK-R and BOC modulation signals are analyzed and their features aregeneralized.2) Starting line, starting line JSR, starting line range, disaster line, disaster line JSR, disasterline range, equivalent line, equivalent line JSR, equivalent line range are proposed based onBER to assess the effect of interference.3) BER formula of PSK-R receiver is derived under broadband noise and partial band noisejamming. The optimal jamming parameters of partial band noise, autoregressive, single tone,multiple tone, pulse are ascertained through simulation. The blanket jamming effect on PSK-Rand BOC modulation signal are simulated, analyzed, compared.
