Communication countermeasure is one of the most important contents of the electronic warfare. As the development of the technology, especially the development of the spread spectrum technology, communication jamming is crucial to the success of modern wars. In this situation, it is essential to study the communication jamming technology and jamming effect in order to jam the aim signals more effectively.First of all, several basic methods of spread spectrum communication are stated at the beginning of this dissertation, including the anti-jamming communication technologies of direct sequence spread spectrum, frequency hopping, time hopping and coherent spread spectrum system. After that, some basic communication jamming waveforms are analyzed, such as waveforms of noise jamming, tone jamming, pulse jamming etc. which belong to power jamming, and waveforms of taper audio jamming, random-step-purity tone jamming, cone type audio jamming, ASK signal, MSK signal etc. which belong to deceive jamming.On the basis of these materials, an analysis of principles and characteristics of direct sequence spread spectrum under no jamming is given. Then, the relationships between bit error rate and jamming parameters are studied and emulated on the computer. The results of emulation are evaluated.
