Modern electronic warfare characterized by a variety of weapons and equipmentwhich are increasingly dependent on radio technology, so radar is a very important partof the modern electronic warfare. With the development of modern electronicinterference, radar is currently facing more and more challenges of active interference ina complex electromagnetic environment. In this dissertation, take attention to the typicalpulse compression (PC) radar system, focuses on the analysis algorithm of thesuppression technology of active additive compound jamming, then validate theconventional active jamming and active additive compound jamming suppressionalgorithmic.The main works of this dissertation are as follows:First, the mechanism of generation and action of the active jamming, includingnormal active jamming and the active additive compound jamming are studied, andtheir interference performance and time domain expression are also studied. Thesemodel can apply to the jamming suppression algorithm.Second, the algorithm based on the phase-perturbed theory is studied. Through acombination of LFM signal characteristics, the jamming can be restrained by changingthe transmitted signal of radar to Slope-Varying LFM (SV LFM), and strengthen thejamming signal by using jamming pulse compression, then limit the results of pulsecompression, restore the echo signal by the previous pulse match filter at last. Thecoherent of radar signals is fully utilized by this algorithm, and the systemsignal-to-interference ratio SJR is more than45dB.Third, the step to step suppression algorithm for the active additive compoundjamming is studied. Take attention to the additive compound jamming for deceptionjamming and noise FM jamming. By using the elimination method to suppress thecompound jamming in the suppression of blanket jamming components. The jammingis suppressed by using the beat and filtering method for processing residual deceptionjamming from the additive compound jamming. Finally, through the experimentationand simulation, the results show that the algorithm can improve the signal-to-interference ratio of40dB or more.Fourth, the step to step suppression algorithm for the active additive compoundjamming based on the joint approximate diagonalization of eigenmatrices blind sourcesseparations (JADE BSS) technology is studied. Take attention to the additive compoundjamming for deception jamming and noise FM jamming. By using the eliminationmethod to suppress the compound jamming in the suppression of blanket jammingcomponents. Then definite models of radar received signal which conclude echo anddeception jamming is constructed by the single to dual channel technology. And theseparability of the received signal is discussed in time domain by the fourth-ordercumulant. At last, separate the echo and deception jamming by using the JADE BSStechnology. Two identification models based on the phase quantization feature are givento detect the echo and deception jamming as well.
