Currently the equipment of the disinfection and sterilization used mostly in thenational hospitals, the pharmaceutical factory and the research institution is the pulsingvacuum steam sterilizer. As sterilization temperature of the device is high, thesterilizing effect is reliable, and it’s easy to control, the device occupies a crucialposition in the field of disinfection and sterilization. With the development of thecomputer technology and Internet, the embedded systems are widely used, it hasbecome one of the most popular technologies in the contemporary field of automation.These products are covered the whole IT industry. The technology based on the ARMembedded has became a highlight of the current research for the embedded field,consequently, this topic is about the thorough study for the control system of theembedded sterilizers, and develops a control system for the disinfection andsterilization with low cost, low power consumption, high performance which based onembedded ARM.This topic is about using the embedded ARM Technology to achieve the design ofthe control system for pulse vacuum sterilizer, focuses on the Hardware circuit designas the core of the embedded ARM microprocessor and the software design as the coreplatform of the Linux operating system.The hardware of the control system will use Samsung S3C2440Microprocessor,design the minimum core system centre on the microprocessor, expand the memorySDRAM and NAND FLASH, have network communication interface, USB Interface,Touch-screen interface, serial port and other peripheral circuits, emphasis design thedata acquisition circuit of the temperature and pressure sterilization and its motioncontrol output circuit. Control system software adopts the platform of embedded Linuxoperating system, and completes the entire software design under the platform. Itrealizes the Linux operating system transplant, other drivers development, andMiniGUI system transplant and development, design the central sterilization programof the control system.The sterilization control system can control the temperature and pressure in theairtight container reasonably, the experiments show the hardware of the sterilizationcontrol system can operate fairly stable, the software runs stable with good portabilityand expansibility, it can show the correct temperature, pressure and other parameters during work, and can be modified easily. The sterilization control system can achievethe expected overall objectives, and have good sterilization effect. The system adoptsthe new technology of embedded ARM, it makes a deep investigation and study on theapplications, and have a certain reference value for further research on embeddedsystems.
