With the development of science and the progress of society, splitair-conditioning had entered every household and throughout each office buildings.Currently,however, split air-conditioning in the overall was lacking of an effectivesolution to manage and schedule them intelligently. Recent years, the Internet ofThings technology was supported by the national policy and growing strongconstantly. Internet of Things applications were emerging in various fields. The risingof Internet of Things provided a new way for split air-conditioning control. The goalof this paper is achieving a split air-conditioning control system based on Internet ofThings environment. The paper used infrared, a non-contact way, to control the splitair-conditioning. At the same time, this paper studied how to use neural network torecognize split air-conditioning running state. The system would control andsupervise the split air-conditioning comprehensively and intelligently. It would reduceenergy consumption.At first, this paper analyzed the development status of the Internet of Things athome and abroad as well as the development prospected in China, Analyzed thedevelopment status of the split air-conditioning, and pointed out the shortcomings ofsplit air-conditioning in the smart management. Then the paper proposed a new kindof split air-conditioning control system solutions. The solutions used infrared, anon-contact way, to control split air-conditioning, used sensors and network chip toconnect Internet, and used neural network to recognize the running state ofair-conditioning. Then, the paper focused on the basic concept of the Internet ofThings, and described the three layers of organization structure as well as the Internetof Things application architecture.Secondly, the paper described the structure of the split air-conditioning controlsystem. The system was divided into management control centers and splitair-conditioning controller. Split air-conditioning controller was divided into mastermodule and keyboard module. Then the paper introduced every module software andhardware technology as well as the Implementation. They included the temperature acquisition module, the IR learning and transmitter module, the network module, theLCD display module, and the current acquisition module.Again, the paper analyzed several common faults, as well as its manifestations intemperature and current, and described how to use neural network to recognize therunning state of the split air-conditioning. Then the paper simulated it by usingMATLAB.Finally, the paper described the degree of realization of the system, as well astest results. By using the split air-conditioning control system in the Internet ofThings environment, people can effectively improve the intelligent management ofsplit air-conditioning and can greatly reduce energy consumption.
