Design And Implementation Of Materials Demand Management System Based On ORACLE EBS

Materials demand management plays an enormous role in enterprises’ productionand manufacturing. Effective and timely materials demand management will greatlyreduce the cost of enterprise inventory and maintenance, ensure the orderlyoperation its scientific research and performing production tasks. The design and development of such a system is intended to elevate itsretrieval rate by establishing sole index and average index of each base table, viewsand the backup technology, and intensify user experience of this system. Regardingdemand communication, change approval and delay notice, this system adopts theworkflow technology to deliver related demand message to the correspondingpersonnel to handle, guaranteeing realtime and efficient materials demandmanagement. In terms of authority management, this system improve its safety andreliability via strict accordance with the relationship between personnel and duties,duties and menu. In the end, it sorts out and analyze system data in the form ofreport, further guide the improvement and optimization of the enterprise materialsdemand management process.The materials demand management system in this paper consists of such functionmodules as demand apply workbench, demand change management, integration withunits in demand, integration with supply chain system, workflow management, datadictionary management and statistical analysis of report forms.
