Along with the advent and evolution of Internet, the e-business has already became apowerful facility of the enterprise’s manufacture and management. At present, the e-businessdevelops the third generation with the characteristic of application integration for business-to-business and information exchange using XML. Thus, a formidable network platform isrequired to support dynamic e-business’ superiority since the relationship and realizationtechnology is much more complex compared with the traditional e-business.Therefore, in view of the dynamic e-business’ demand, Open Grid Service Architecture(OGSA) with the characteristic of system crossing, opening and distribution is used as the strutof the dynamic e-business. The workflow mechanism that can automatically execute businessprocesses completely or partially is inosculated with the grid technology to represent thecooperation of grid services. And a hiberarchy framework of workflow management systembased on OGSA is designed as an referential model for the solution of integrating a mass ofloose coupling applications and resources sharing in the dynamic e-business in this paper.The most important innovation points of this paper are as follow: integrate the dynamic e-business, grid service and workflow tech effectively based on the natural consanguineousrelations between workflow tech and grid; present a hiberarchy framework of workflowmanagement system based on OGSA in order to provide an approach of sharing resourcesdynamically and integrating applications implemented on different systems in the dynamic e-business; design a grid service flow optimization framework based on genetic algorithm tosupport the research of the static scheduling as well as dynamic scheduling.This paper emphasizes the structure and design idea of the framework. Globus Toolkit, thevirtual standard of grid computing, is used to realize the main of the framework as well. Theresearch work of the scheduling of grid service workflow is introduced particularly in this paper.Finally, this paper introduces the program GRMS developed in the research and explains howto use the framework in the dynamic e-business with a business instance, and successfullyreveals the central idea of this paper. The description of port types and the specific binding ofconcrete operations are separated in the sample. Then the grid service workflow tech is used tocompose the distributed applications that have been described as a set of port types based on themessage operating by a standard port type language already to a workflow. At last, Globus Toolkit is used to map the workflow into the network resources to generate executableworkflow task. Although the research goal has basically been achieved, more endeavor andenergy are needed in the future work for the research and realization.
