The accumulation of infrared characteristics of the ballistic missile targetdetermines the recognition accuracy. Different seasons and the complicatedearth/atmosphere background make it hard to guarantee the accuracy of thetheoretical calculation and numerical simulation for ballistic missile IR characristics,it is necessary to carry out cooperative measurement of IR radiation characteristics.In the entire processing system of target characteristic data, missile targetextraction algorithm for measurement solution is the main research. Because missiletarget in the experiment and inner/exterior orientation elements are known, based onthe prior imformation,the method to improve target detection probability is themajor researth area in the article.In this dissertation the imaging model of coorperative measurement, regulartarget detection algorithms, mathematical morphology background suppressionalgorithm, cooperative target extraction algorithm and processing system are carriedout in depth.Main work are as follows:In the aspect of imaging model of coorperative measurement, principalcoordinates involved in the measurement system are introduced and the imagingmodel of coorperative measurement is established for theoretical basis ofpositioning solve and the division of the region of interest.In the aspect of target detection algorithms, regular background suppressionalgorithms and segmentation algorithms are experimented, such as blockbackground prediction algorithm, max median filter, local entropy,OTSUsegmentation algorithm, iterative segmentation algorithm and CFAR algorithm,focus on their scope of application and characteristics.In the aspect of mathematical morphology background suppression algorithm,The classical morphology algorithm is improved and the order statistics morphologyalgorithm is designed combined with classical morphology and statistics.On theother side, if the target energy was the largest in the local image, energyaccumulation morphology algorithm is designed.In the aspect of cooperative target extraction algorithm and processing system,a software are developed under the environment of Matlab2010, and algorithms arediscussed in this paper which were integrated in the software. It has a friendlyhuman-computer interation and a good application prospect.
