With the rapid development and widely used of communication and networktechnology, most communication services are intended to carry over the IP network inthe future, Internet will gradually evolved from a single data transmission network to aintegrated transport network including data, voice, video and real-time mediainformation etc, so how to meet a variety of real-time business needs, providing reliableservice quality assurance is a key issue. The Test Communication Network as a specialdedicated network, is also facing the problem.This paper aims to reach the technical implementation feasibility and effectivenessof QoS in the Test Communication IP Network. First introduces the basic concepts ofQoS and performance metric, analyzes and research the QoS service model in-depth,point out their advantages and disadvantages and application environment, then basedon this discuss the principle of Differentiated Services and related technology. Next,outline the basic situation and development trend of Test Communication Network,construct the overall framework of the Test Communication IP Network, analyzes itsQoS indicators requirements, then propose a simplified QoS architecture of the TestCommunication IP Network based on DiffServ, this model is in accordance with thedifferentiated services architecture for network deployment, and can achievedifferentiated services, improve network quality of service. In addition, this paper alsopresents an improved algorithm based on the content importance and the type ofbusiness, which redefines the DSCP value, in the router, according to the DSCP valueset two queues, first queue distinguish the importance of business, second queueseparate queuing delay sensitive, in transmission, the router will give priority tobusiness-critical services, when congestion occurs, first discard the lowest importantdata packets, the important task still get a larger bandwidth, ensure the QoS. Finally,Using OPNET constructed simulation model,verify the feasibility and effectiveness ofthe program, the work will help to the implement of the end-to-end QoS in the futurework.
