The Design Of Digital Files And Documents Management System

In recent years, the information era has arrived with the quick development of productresearch and business management. A large number of electronic documents are generatedfrom the continuous development of digital construction. These electronic documents havenot been effectively controlled and managed in the original system. Meanwhile, a largenumber of valuable electronic documents have not been archived. Thus, the original systemhas been unable to meet the new demands of document management.In this situation, we propose a flexible, practical solutions, using the advancedinformation and network technology. From the technology files, sound files to videomultimedia files, including text resources, all of these can be stored and retrieved by thesystem.This paper introduces the concept and principle of the system, and describes thefunctional requirements and the non-functional requirements design of the digital file anddocument management system. Moreover, methods of effective management of science andtechnology paper documents, archives and historical data have also been elaborated in thispaper.
