With the development of science and technology, applications of informationtechnology are increasingly used in agricultural production. In agricultural production,many factors affect crop growth and yield, such as the environment, temperature, humidityand light intensity, so timely adjustment and improvement of greenhouse environment isneeded for crops at different times, to make agricultural production more productive,efficient and high-quality. Building an intelligent greenhouse monitoring system forautomatic acquisition and control of greenhouse information, can meet the requirements ofmodern facility agriculture.An intelligent environment monitoring system based on STM32W is designed andimplemented in this paper. The system monitored is made up of intelligent nodes,ZigBee-WiFi gateways and host computer. Intelligent monitoring nodes of the system areconnected with light intensity sensor, temperature and humidity sensor, and CO2concentration sensor, which can achieve real-time acquisition of environmental parameters.Collected environmental parameters are transmitted into the ZigBee-WiFi wireless gatewayby ZigBee networks, the environmental parameters sent to the wireless WiFi net through thegateway conversion, then received and displayed by host computer. Also, the environmentalparameters can be adjusted. ZigBee-WiFi gateway enables the conversion between wirelesssensor networks and wireless LAN protocol packets. As a ZigBee network coordinator, it isresponsible for the establishment of the ZigBee network, nodes assignment, as well asinformation storage and transmission. While As a wireless WiFi node, it is responsible forthe wireless Internet connection and data transmission.This article firstly introduces application characteristics and overall design ideas of theintelligent monitoring system, then discusses the system in detail separately from the overallsystem design, hardware design and software design, as well as other aspects. What’s more,modular design idea is adopted to make debugging and adjustment more convenient duringthe system design process.As the effective supplement and extension of the ZigBee network, the systemovercomes the limitations of traditional wired environment monitoring system, and meetsthe needs of wireless data collection and networking, realizing the informatization andautomatization of agricultural production.
