With the development of the Internet of Things, intelligent greenhouse has become a global hotspot, the traditional greenhouses have little facilities, they entirely rely on labor management, high-intensity labor and high labor costs, so the production efficiency is very low. Later, these greenhouses were equipped with a wired monitoring device to reduce labor intensity, but the result shows that when using this monitoring and control method, the cable will be oxidized and corroded after a period of time under the relatively harsh environment inside the greenhouse, resulting in a waste of resources. When the seasons change, other crops need to be planted, wired dismantling and rewiring are more difficult with a high maintenance costs. Therefore wired communication technology measurement and control are difficult to achieve the desired goal, it does not suitable for modern greenhouse.Wireless sensor networks is mainly made up of three parts:tiny sensor nodes, gateways, software. A WSN typically has little or no infrastructure and has widely used in the area of remote environment monitoring and tracking applications. ZigBee is a short-range communication protocol. It is based on IEEE802.15.4 standard. With low-cost, low-power, low-rate, short-delay, high-security, high capacity and many other advantages, ZigBee has a good prospect in the fields of industrial control, smart home, cold chain and so on.This paper designs a greenhouse information collection and dissemination system based on ZigBee wireless sensor network. First of all, the basic theory of wireless sensor network and ZigBee technology were analyzed, focusing on the study of ZigBee protocol stack. Then, we analyzed the design requirements of the system, given the overall design of the system. On this basis, a ZigBee hardware equipment selection was made. CC2530 was chosen as the main chip, and the hardware design of sensor nodes and coordinator node were given. Hardware control program using the IAR Embedded Workbench IDE to develop. In addition, the greenhouse data release platform was developed for PC.Finally, a summarize about the work in this paper was been given, and proposed the further improvement of the system and the focus of the future research.
