With the proposal of the concept of the triple play, the demand for theinterconnection of telecommunications networks and broadcast television network isincreasing.In view of the various advantages of the telecommunications network, thebroadcast television network in the triple play competition must be done to avoidweaknesses, and make full use of the existing network resources to carry outtechnological transformation.To achieve the network to carry out a variety of businessand be able to carry more content and take full advantage of the wide network bandwidthadvantage of rich resources, essential for the transformation of the two-way transmissionof the existing network.The focus of this research is that, according to the actual situation of China’s radioand television networks, to implement and test based on the coaxial cable two-waytransformation technology (HiNOC),as follows:At first, this paper expounds the concept of access network, and introduced severalkinds of technical standard cable access network and compares the advantages anddisadvantages of their performance and their application scenarios. With the emergenceof cable TV new application scenario, the original cable access network technology cannot meet the technical requirements for the modification of the cable connected totwo-way cable TV. European and American developed countries constantly on radio andtelevision network operators and equipment introduced all kinds of new technology formodification of radio and television networks, in order to meet the age of the Internetusers of the growing demand for two-way interactive multimedia applications.
