| The video surveillance system is one kind of prevent security system with highprevention capability. Video surveillance, with its intuitive, convenient and informationcontent rich, are widely used in many areas, such as financial system, transportationsystem, public security system, education system and health care system. In recent years,with the popularity of video surveillance, high-definition video monitor screen hasbecome increasingly demanding, the traditional standard-definition video surveillancesystem is no longer adapt to the needs of the times, so the research and development ofhigh-definition video surveillance system with independent intellectual property rightshas good market prospects.Based on embedded operating system Linux2.6.31.8platform, combined with theMarvell MV78100high-performance processors, designed and implemented a embeddedHD video surveillance system which apply to highway, public security system and otherapplication occasion. As to hardware, FPGA controlled the compression chip,compressed the HD video data from HD camera, and selected high-performanceprocessor MV78100from Marvell, implemented the real-time transmission ofhigh-definition video data through the chip’s Device Bus. As to software, systemtransplanted Linux2.6.31.8on the control panel, and structures embedded developmentplatform, implemented operating the Device Bus in user mode to avoid the drive writingthrough the/dev/mem device and mmap system call in Linux, and to ensure thetimeliness and reliability of data transmission.Embedded HD video surveillance system solved the problem of low-resolution intraditional video surveillance system, and had good performance in differentenvironment, and is widely applicable to many public areas of financial system,transportation system, public security system and health care system. |
