With the continuous development of the RFID (Radio Frequency Identification)technology in recent years, the demand of RFID tags is growing rapidly. The growing demandhas raised new challenges of all aspects of the manufacturing of RFID tags. Tag antenna as acore component of the RFID tag, the dimensional accuracy and electrical properties of itdirectly affect the quality of the RFID tag and the production efficiency of RFID tag packageequipment. However, the current lack of device for mass inspection of the quality andperformance of RFID tag antenna in the market.The main content of this paper is to design and implement of the inspection equipmentfor RFID tag antenna, including:Firstly, following requirements and indicators, a program of the equipment with highintegrity and pertinence is finished. At same time, based on weight reduction and workabilityrequirement, the core part of the equipment is designed, analyzed and optimized.Secondly, the paper researches the distribution law and the factors influencing of tensionin the different regions of the equipment. Then analyzes the deviation cause of the flexibletape in theoretically through the study on the deviation phenomenon of the web conveyancesystem, designed a new adjustment washers.Then, the internal relationship between the mechanical structure, speed, acceleration,spatial position of the detector assembly and H-XY motion platform dynamic positioningerror when the single-side drive mechanism moves along X axis is analyzed theoretically.Finally, the control system design is completed according to working conditions,actionprocess and multi-location conditions and frequent start/stop actions require of the equipment.Experiments show that the program, mechanical system, control system and software systemof the inspection equipment for RFID tag antenna meet the working conditions.In this paper, the results of research have been successful applied on the developmentand production of the inspection equipment for RFID tag antenna and the above researchresults can also be a reference to the related applications.
