In order to validate the driving characteristics and operating life of moving parts(refers to the driving mechanism, in the form of motor driving reducer), we needed toprecisely load and test the moving parts according to actual loading behaviors. In thisprocess, a dynamic torque simulative loading and testing system was carried out and thesystem which used the hysteresis brake as the core loading component has been developedand realized accurate dynamical loading and torque measurement. The main researchcontents are as follows:(1)Based on analysis of the mechanical structure requirements for precise measurement ofdynamic torque, we proposed using hysteresis brake and reverse installing planetaryreducer as the loading method and have developed a dynamic torque loading and testdevice which has a general interface and unified orientation feature.(2)The hysteresis brake loading process presented significant nonlinear characteristics dueto the presence of hysteresis effect, pointing to the nonlinear characteristics of thehysteresis brake loading, the paper realized loading automatic control by using PIDclosed-loop control algorithm, and adopted critical proportioning method to turning ofcontrol parameters.(3) A master-slave control system has been built, and the control and measurementsystems used industrial personal computer (IPC) as the upper computer and programmablelogic controller (PLC) as the lower computer. Completed the main control programwriting and debugging, and the system was capable of dynamic measuring performanceparameters, such as torque, angular speed and angular position.In this paper, the dynamic torque simulative loading and test system is generic and itshow good performance of loading. The system realizes steady loading which isindependent with speed, steady loading in low-speed condition and high loading precisionin performance test experiments, so it provides the ideal platform for moving partscharacteristics and operating life test.
