Along with the improving of the automobile capability, the security of the automobile becomes more and more important. Brake is one of the most important security components in the vehicle and it greatly contributes to the performance of the vehicle, so the research on brake is very important and needed. But sometimes it can not be tested through examination because of the economy,time or security, at this time, the brake could be tested by simulation.In this paper, a simulation model of the brake is established based of the brake test-rig in ADAMS, in this process, the design theory of the brake test-rig is interpreted and the way how to determine some relative parameters is also explained, in the meanwhile, the usage mode of some software and matters need attention in modelling phase are illustrated. Used the simulation model, the braking efficiency of one brake is analyzed, and as the conclusion, we get the variety of acceleration,torque and braking efficiency factor along with the time. We also get the variety of braking efficiency factor along with the friction factor through simulating the model, at the same time, we analyze the reason why these phenomena happen and propose some methods to improve it. In the process of modeling the simulation model, the influence of some flexible body to the precision of the simulation is also concerned, and the method of Finite Element Analysis is used to solve this problem.In this paper, the way of setting up the simulation model is universal, so it is very convenient to analyze other brake system with different structure or different contact models. |
