With the number of cars in the city increased dramatically, the problem of limited supplyin parking spaces has become more and more serious. The existing circumstances of parkingmanagements are do their own, which has led to the phenomenon that low resource utilizationand unreasonable use of parking spaces. In order to make good use of the parking resources ofevery parking lot and improve the situation of traffic jam, it is necessary for us to monitor andmanage the condition of parking lots in the whole city. As the most important technologypresently, the internet of things has a unique advantage to resolve the problem of parkingMonitoring and management. We apply the key technology of IOT to the Parking spacemonitoring. We use Single axis magnetic sensors HMC1021Z and High performancemicrocontroller CC2431as the core chip, design and realize the perception and acquisition ofstatus information of parking spaces, and transmit the information through wireless sensornetwork.In addition, this paper applies the ideas of IOT to the big city parking guidance systemand realizes the interconnection of inner-city parking lot parking space information. Thissystem integrates and manages the information of the whole city parking lot status; publishesthe using status of each parking space dynamically and provides users with inquiries on thestatus of parking spaces and parking reservations.After testing, we can conclude that the way to feel and collect parking state informationby the magnetic sensors, transport the information by wireless sensor network is feasible. Bythe use of idea of IOT, we combine the parking lot, information management center andcustomer service through the network to form the big city parking guidance system. Thissystem achieves the designed goals, and has nice practical value.
