Wireless sensor network technology is used in a widely area of applications, suchas environment monitoring, seism monitoring, and battlefield surveillance. Thewireless sensor nodes are equipped with low-powered batteries in the wireless sensornetwork hence an effective approach for battery energy conservation of the wirelesssensor node is necessary for promoting network longevity. The deployment problem ofwireless sensor network nodes is studied in this article, through the proper deploywireless sensor nodes, wireless sensor networks can improve the treatment of theperceived effect of the target monitoring area to reduce the energy consumption ofwireless sensor nodes to extend the lifetime of wireless sensor network. The present research status of wireless sensor network coverage and nodedeployment problem is introduced and the coverage metrics of wireless sensor networkis summarized first in this article. Then a node movement scheme based on balancedistance aiming at the wireless sensor network nodes which are randomly deployed isdesigned. The wireless sensor node movement is divided into several processes, ineach movement process according to the balance distance and location relations movewireless sensor nodes to separate the aggregate wireless sensor nodes. This schemeachieves the maximum coverage of the monitoring area and reduces the sum of thewireless sensor nodes movement distance. The simulation results demonstrate theeffectiveness of the algorithm.A nodes deployment scheme based on the evidence theory aiming at thecurrently existing deployment schemes whose nodes models are too brief is designed. The evidence theory is used to calculate the perceived probability in the area aroundthe wireless sensor nodes and transform virtual force algorithm. This scheme movesthe wireless sensor nodes to the low perceived probability area and achieves themaximum coverage of the monitoring area. The simulation results show this deployment algorithm achieves the goal of the wireless sensor nodes reasonabledistribution with improving the network coverage and reducing the wireless sensornodes movement distance and extends the lifetime of wireless sensor network.A heterogeneous nodes deployment scheme based on the perceived probabilitymodel aiming at the heterogeneous wireless sensor network nodes deployment isdesigned. The perceived probability model is used to calculate the perceivedprobability in the area around the heterogeneous wireless sensor nodes and transformvirtual force algorithm. This scheme moves the heterogeneous wireless sensor nodes tothe low perceived probability area and achieves the maximum coverage of themonitoring area. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the algorithm.
