Elevator Group Control System is an intelligent control system managed by microcomputer.Elevator as the only electrification of transport in the vertical transport of intelligent buildings, people’sdemand for the quality of its services is getting higher. To improve the elevator’s service, not only thehardware configuration of the facility must be improved but also the dispatching optimizationcapabilities. So this paper’s research is on the group control scheduling algorithm of Elevator GroupControl System.The paper first introduces the status of the elevator development at home and abroad, andsummarizes the research results achieved. Starting from the whole system of the diversifiedcharacteristics of the elevator group control system, established a mathematical model ofmulti-objective evaluation function for the system based on the requirements of its group control target.Secondly, according to the characteristics of the group control system itself, the traffic flow in thevertical direction of the group control system is divided into uplink traffic and downlink traffic,inter-layer traffic as well as idle traffic mode. And the characteristics of these modes are summarized,and laid the foundation for the traffic flow pattern recognition. O-D matrix estimation model andtraditional Monte Carlo method were combined to get simulation data stream for simulation purposes,on the basis of the analysis based on the traffic flow theory, to improve the credibility of the simulationdata.Then, introduce cultural algorithm to solve the elevator group control multi-objective optimizationmodel optimization problems culture algorithm is a new algorithm with double evolutionarymechanisms, the population space can select one evolutionary algorithm, because of the characteristicsof this paper’s model, the choice is genetic algorithm, which constitute the cultural and geneticalgorithms. Using both cultural genetic algorithm and genetic algorithm, by comparing the simulationresults, cultural genetic algorithm has faster search speed than the basic genetic algorithm andeffectively reduce the average waiting time for an elevator and average riding time to adapt to theelevator group real-time requirements of the control system, cultural algorithm has a better effect thanthe basic genetic algorithm to optimize the entire system.Finally, based on the VC++platform, Elevator Group Control System scheduling simulationsoftware is designed for validation of the algorithm optimization.
