Abstract/Summary:
With more and more high-rise buildings constructed, the elevator has becomean indispensable vertical transportation in a building in people’s work and life. Anew elevator——double car elevator which has been developed successfully canreduce the area of the elevator shafts by right of its unique structure and enhance theeconomical value for high-rise buildings. It has been a growing interest problem athome and broad that how the optimal control of double car elevator can be achievedand how the quality of service can be raised and the energy loss can be lowered bythe control. This work aims at the research on the double car elevator group controlsystem by means of intelligent control method, which can provide a theoretical basisfor the engineering application of double car elevator.Simultaneously with the in-depth analysis on traffic flow, this work makes aresearch about the traffic flow prediction method based on Support Vector Machineand the traffic mode recognition method based on GA-BP neural network.Furthermore, this paper presents a traffic mode prediction method which can avoidthe defect of mode lag on this basis. In consideration of the lack of the effectivecollection method for the data of the interfloor traffic flow, the recognition devicefor the waiting crowd is designed. The zoning detection for the lobby can beachieved by the infrared body detectors and the data can be transmitted throughCAN Bus. On the basis of the method, the design of the corresponding hardwarecircuits and communication programs is accomplished with the physical verificationfinished. The test results reveal that this device can realize the collection for theinterfloor traffic flow and correctly recognize the size of the waiting crowd.On the basis of the analysis on the basic structure, the operation characteristicand the performance evaluation index, the optimal control target for the double carelevator group control system is determined. The model for generating the trafficflow is established before the simulation for traffic flow generation in differenttraffic mode. This article achieves the horizontal control algorithm under themulti-objective optimal control by using GA, designs a vertical control strategy onthe basis of dynamic zoning method and makes a combination with the horizontalcontrol algorithm to form a compound control algorithm. After the simulationprogram for double car elevator group control system is written and the minimumwaiting time algorithm, the horizontal control algorithm based on GA and thecompound algorithm is compared through simulation. Simulation results reveal thatthe control algorithm which is researched and designed in this article possesses apreferable control effect in the average waiting time, long waiting time incidence and the numbers of stops and realizes the efficient transit for double car elevatorgroup control system in different traffic modes and passenger arrival rates.This work makes a preliminary study on the theory of double car elevatorgroup control system, raises the service quality of elevator, lowers the energy loss ofthe system, follows the trend of the elevator development in the future, conforms tothe request for the service quality of elevator group control system and the policy ofenergy conservation and has significance to push forward the technique of our ownelevator group control.
