Laser3D vision system is one of the most effective technologies for three-dimensional imaging of complex environment with high angular resolution, ranging resolution and velocity resolution, which consists of laser technology, imaging technology, timemeasuring technology and control technology. Therefore, intelligent robots, unmannedvehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and other military or civilian fields have a wild useof this technology.The trend of laser3D vision system in the future is low cost, miniaturization andhigh-definition. This paper starts from the design and achievement of opt-mechanicalscanning system, using XY scanning galvanometer as an imaging device. Then focus onsome key issues of XY scanning galvanometer technology, such as high speed and highefficiency technology. Built a3D laser scanning vision system initially, and do somerelated experiments. The main works of this paper include following aspects:Firstly, introduce some basic theory about the design of laser3D vision system.Such as the method of extracting distance and azimuth information about targets, andthe method of designing scanning optical system. The3D laser vision system isdesigned, which achieves two-dimensional scanning by XY galvanometer and achievestransmitter antenna coherent by using polarization beam splitter.Secondly, design and machining the scanning optical system, pre-beam expanderoptical system and receiving optical system which is composed of the objective lens andthe field lens by ZEMAX optical design software. Select the beam expander rearscanning optical program as the highly efficient scanning way. Then deduce therelationship between coordinate positions and scan angle of XY scanning galvanometer.Compare the "Mansard Scan" with "snake Scan" for achieving high speed scanningoptical.Finally, built a laser3D scanning vision experiment system by using632.8nmcontinuous laser,1550nm pulsed fiber laser, optical system, photo-detector and controlsystem. Verified the linear relationship between the drive voltage and scan angle and theability of achieving maximum number of scan lines per second at different angles of thescanning galvanometer through experiments, and then verified the feasibility of thescanning system by laser ranging experiment for the3D vision system.
