Range gated laser imaging has great advantages to apply to the3dreconstruction, for example, mature technology,high engineering degree and goodability to adapt to the environment, thus, in this paper, we will reseach on three-dimensional reconstruction method for range-gated laser imaging system.Firstly, we did a range-gated imaging system simulation of laser pulsedistribution, and range-gated imaging system echo intensity distribution simulation.We use triangle wave approximation and gaussian approximation for to simulate thelaser pulse. Then, these two kinds of distribution cases imaging was carried outwithin the scope of echo intensity distribution are simulated, and we compared theirsimulation results.Secondly, we analyzed and completed the method of reconstruction3dinformation for range gated imaging system.Through analyze the centroid algorithm,using the imaging within the scope of the echo intensity distribution curve of highand low MCP width of laser pulse width ratio under the two cases distancereduction has carried on the simulation computation. In addition, we find the way tocalculate the spatial resolution based on the relationship between distance and fieldof view Angle. Finally based on imaging of multiple points of view, we completedthe coordinate reduction under the angles of the theoretical calculation.Thirdly, we desiged the range gated imaging system experiment schemedesign of3d reconstruction, and carried out which was closed and buildings over along distance target range gated imaging experiment. In order to adapt to thereduction of image centroid algorithm distance requirements, the out-patient controlchip technology was improved, we use a long MCP door wider, in a single sectionis included in the goal, but in different slices, within the scope of the target in theimaging position is different, so using echo intensity of different reduction withinthe section on distance information.Finally, we carried on the close target gypsum portrait and building at adistance for3d reconstruction, and analyzed the error of using range gated imagingsystem for3d reconstruction. We have been conducted on several imaging target3dreconstruction, completed each target point cloud display, grid and array processing.Finally, we analyzed the two error sources: image acquirement and reconstructionalgorithm for3d reconstruction and it provides the direction of the further researchto improve the reconstruction accuracy.
