With the maturity of the3rd generation mobile communication technology and theacceleration of globalization application process, the scope of its application is gainingpromotion in various fields. Based on the coal communication characteristics, the paperproposes a TD-SCDMA private coal wireless communication network fusing SIP, whichrealizing effectively real-time voice and data transmission services including coalcommunication information sharing, multimedia scheduling, safety production monitoring,mobile video surveillance, personnel positioning and so on.The paper firstly introduces the development situation of private coal communicationnetworks and analysis and comparison of several wireless communication technology used bycurrent domestic and foreign mines. Followed through the description of the TD-SCDMAtechnology and SIP protocol, the paper indicates technical advance, leading solutions andpracticality features of coal communication system app lying the TD and SIP technology. Onthis basis, the paper describes the TD private coal network solutions, network structure,function and features. Then according to the standard3GPP protocol, the paper studies theMM (mobility management, mobility management of the core network CS domain) functionfrom the perspective of engineering applications, protocol stack structure, business processesand other aspects of private coal network. In the process of study, the paper mainly achievestwo contents. According to the modular thought, the MM working model has been proposedand the signaling achievement and software achievement of specific mobility managementprocesses like location updating process, IMSI detach process and service request processhave been designed and optimized. Meanwhile, the paper analysis and achieve the mutualconversion between MM NAS message and SIP message.Next in order to successful complete the debug and test of software and hardware,compile and the application of the software to hardware equipment. The analyses of testresults show that the proposed scheme of the TD-SCDMA private coal communication network can achieve effectively CS domainmobility management functions.
