Design Of Embedded Linux Mobile Video Monitoring System Based On S3C2440

In today’s society, monitor is a device that is very common and important. In publicplaces, the installation of surveillance can serve to remind people to pay attention to behaviorand even deter criminals, but now many monitoring requirements have been on duty, not onlywaste a lot of human and material resources, but also difficult to achieve good results. Withthe progress of science and technology, especially the development of embedded technologyoffers to help us solve this problem. This paper introduces a design of embedded S3C2440based on Linux mobile video surveillance system, it is the Samsung mini2440developmentboard and based on the Linux operating system, movement to capture images by VimicroZC301camera, reached a general requirement of new period monitoring: in the relative costof manpower resources in the case of less, to achieve effective monitoring purposes.This design according to the resource allocation and design target practice, developed amonitoring and control system meeting the demands of modern society. The whole design isdivided into basic part and a part of the application system development. First, build a virtualmachine, the Linux operating system installation and cross compiler installation. Secondly,transplant UBOOT, Linux kernel and root file system in the development board, complete thetransplantation and the key driver transplantation, transplantation of madpaly player, cameradriven transplantation. Finally, designed the alarm main program, realized when movingobjects, V4L2Vimicro ZC301camera for moving image data acquisition based on the imagedata, and save, madplay audio player alarm function.
