LED is known as the most development prospect green source in the21st century and get wide public attention in the world. It has high brightness, low quantity of heat, long life, no toxicity and can be recycled characteristics. At present, LEDs are driver by DC, so we need to add a power adapter between electric supply and LEDs, it is called LED drive power and its role is to convert AC power supply to suitable DC power supply. The research shows that while LED lamps don’t work,90%of all bad lamps are caused by LED drive power quality problems. That is to say, the quality of LED drive power is the most important key technology in the development of LED industry. With the rapid development of LED industry chain, customers put forward higher request at the technology and control accuracy requirement. Therefore, how to detect the quality of LED drive power with an effective way while LED drive powers are large-scale produced is an important means to improve the LED industry chain.This thesis takes the LED drive power performance parameters test as the research object. Referring to the relevant test standards and specification home and abroad, and the main methods of treating with these parameters are signal process and numerical value analyze. The paper researches the theory and methods of measurement of the LED drive power static performance parameters and dynamic performance parameters systematic. At the same time, the system of testing LED drive power parameters is offered.The test system can test the power of LED constant current drive power below twenty watts; the core is data acquisition and processing system based on ARM. Firstly, through A/D converter chip detect LED drive power’s input voltage, input current, output voltage, output current on different states, then storage the relevant data on the ARM memory. Secondly, according to the relevant computing method, processing the collected data, complete the test of input power, power factor, efficiency, precision of constant current, input regulation, steady flow coefficient, load regulation, maximum ripple voltage, ripple factor and so on, then display on TFT. The last we also can simulate the fault on the node to complete the protection test. And constructs the intelligent effectively test platform. The whole test system includes AC source, signal acquisition and regulate circuit, LED electronic load, ARM control circuit, LCD interface circuit, switching value circuit and communication interface circuit. By the practical test shows, the system run reliable and measure accuracy, and achieves the goal of practical application.
