With mobile wireless sensor network (WSN) development, Mobile WSNgradually into people’s lives, and is widely used in the field of urban management,environmental monitoring, medical health. Because sensor nodes have randommobility, it will cause a high degree change of net network topology, andcommunication easy to be interrupted. Thereby it affects effectiveness of thecollection and transmission of data on the network greatly. To adapt to thecharacteristics of the development of the mobile WSN, we study the nodes movementcontrol strategy on the Multilayer mobile network is necessary to guarantee theeffective transmission of network information, it has an important value.This paper presented a movement control strategy based on virtual force inMulti-tier Mobile Sensor Network. The strategy can ensure the coverage of nodes andefficiency of network data collection, reduce data loss rate, and nodes powerconsumption. The main job is as follows:(1) Divide communication cluster of S nodes: S nodes are randomly deployed inWSN. They are usually unevenly distributed in every monitoring sub-region. Foracquiring entire network topology information, F nodes must rapidly traverse themonitoring region. We divide S nodes into clusters based on the whole networkinformation and whether the distance of nodes.(2) Node Uniform Distribution: All nodes are randomly deployed and it willappear the phenomenon of uneven distribution of nodes in a region of interest. So wepresent a virtual force model based on the idea of virtual force. Calculating the virtualforce in each of the dividied communication cluster, so that the nodes move along theforce direction to achieve a uniformly distributed state in each cluster, and eventuallyextended to the uniform distribution of the entire network nodes.(3) Planning the F Node Path: When all nodes uniform distribution, fusion Fnode rapidly traverses the monitoring region to achieve information of entire networktopology. According the node location information, and combined with hierarchicalnode aggregation algorithm to divide communication round. Then determine thecenter position and calculate the distance between them. Constructing the minimalspanning tree based on nodes and distance between the center positions. F nodestravel the minimal spanning tree to obtain the optimal movement path of F nodes.At last, we use nodes and software which are provided by CrossBow Company to test data communication. And the strategy is simulated with MATLAB. Simulationresults show that the strategy not only can improve the node coverage, but also reducethe network load and redundant information in the local network. Finally, the strategycan ensure the efficiency of network data collection; reduce data loss rate and nodes energyconsumption.
