During the development of computer network, due to the continuous improvement of the network technology, the operator may establish at different times to different sets of the network to provide customers with the most excellent service network. But in the current Ethernet technology is popular situation, most operators will adopt backbone network and more high-speed Ethernet technology. By using MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching multi protocol label switching) of the two layer of VPN technology, the operator can interconnect with Ethernet backbone networks based on old conveniently in the network; By this way operators can provide value-added services for customers without any investment in the case of increasing returns and can be fully utilized the backbone network resources.At first, this paper was reviewed on the development of the computer network and the background of the two layers of the VPN technology based on MPLS. This paper expounds the technical basis of this technique and its application in current network operating in the positive significance.After the data search and study, The writer build an experimental environment. Study transmission principle of traditional network routing and building process, label switching network transmission principle and construction process by using the data packet capture and analysisSecondly, The writer have made a deep research on the process and the construction of transmission principle of the two layer VPN technology.And found that multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) technology and providing efficient service of two layer VPN technology MPLS the existence of multiple may lead to the problem of inefficient network service.Finally, The writer analysis and research on these problems and put forward some improvement scheme. By that, make it transfer in the existing conditions as far as possible the optimization of transmission network and achieve the best effect of use.
