Against the major background of the fierce competition among pharmaceutical c ompanies and the development of enterprises influenced by public policy, this paper analyzes the practical problems the pharmaceutical companies face under the present market policy and the necessity of enterprises’accomplishing the information modern ization. Combining the demand of pharmaceutical companies with marketing manage ment, making use of information modernization, gathering and analyzing the data of point-of-sale terminal, adopt analysis of market forecasting, this system can make the administration and supervision authorities of pharmaceutical companies fully understa nd the changing situation of the sales, predict the trend of the future sales, draw up str ategies of development, improve the management level and decision-making capacity of enterprises.This paper finishes the demand analysis of the system by combining the present managerial system with modes of sales of the company, determines the functional mo dules of this analysis system of sales statistics according to the principles and objectiv es of system developemnt. The basic modules in the system include system design mo dule, information setting module and data entry module, etc.. Meanwhile, in order to s trengthen pharmaceutical companies’ marketing decision and the early warning abilit y of sales status, this system mainly designs module of business graphics statistics and module based on data prediction of temporal dimension and to accomplish the whole system.The data prediction module adopts prediction algorithm of straight line, two and three trend curve in consideration of the variable product market. It offers an accu rate prediction of the future sales data from the historical one according to the time se quence. The module also helps pharmaceutical enterprises solve the operational probl ems in the market competition and provide reliable reference data to make a decision of the future development. In this way, it can relieve the sales decline and improve the comprehensive competitive ability.After the system has been improved and tested, it has been used in the marketing department of Zhejiang Zhenyuan Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. From the use of the overall point of view, the effect is good. After using the system, the sales data has been effective managed and the management of the enterprise can know the real-time sales status as well as the future sales forecast quickly and easily. It increases the enterprises’compressive and predict capability in the Pharmaceutical market with strong practicability.
