Q2.What was the national image of Japan like according to these reports?After analysis above, it is found that Global Times has paid more attention on “3.11” Earthquake.Its key topics are economy, society, international relation and politics, and key points are impact andreact. Most of the reports are objective, and the negative attitudes also obvious. The national image ofJapan showed by the reports is summarized as third-largest economy in decline, persevering people indisaster, given object in “disaster diplomacy” and “handbook society” in anger.
