| Literature data forms a database with huge amount of information in many fields. The database hasbeen widely applied because of the commercial operation, and brought a very big economic and socialbenefit. Tibet agriculture and animal husbandry science and technology of Tibetan literature database isa information management system, which developed by the modern computer network technology, andbased on web. Its characteristics are composed of a large storage capacity, easy retrieval and consulting.It filled gaps in the current Tibet agriculture and animal husbandry science and technology of Tibetanliterature database.This paper discussed the features of Tibetan characters input, display, and storage in computer, andTibetan using habit, then designed the Tibet agriculture and animal husbandry science and technology ofTibetan Literature Database. The database realized the embedded display of Tibetan through theOpenType font and came true the Tibetan online input through the Javascript. At the same time, itrealized commendably the Tibetan Literature retrieval based on the characteristics of Tibetan language.The main features are as follows:(1) Making the OpenType font by using the weft software supplied by Microsoft Corporation, inorder to realize Tibetan fonts embedding in webpage, which solved the display problem ofTibetan in web pages.(2) Through the Javascript to realize the Tibetan online input, so that users do not need to installthe Tibetan typewriting before input Tibetan and only need to open the Tibetan online inputpanel. |
