Automobile radiator is of one the important parts of automobile manufacturing, however, currently, compared with the international, domestic automobile radiator industry still exits a gap. So, in order to enhance the market competitiveness of the automobile industry, how to develop new type radiator quasi-flexible equipment become the academic and industrial circles to focus on.According to the characteristics of the alumious rectangle welded pipe which is a pseudo flexible manufacturing system and demand analysis, some problems which will be solved during the control system of uncoiling and looper are put forward is this dissertation, at the same time, analysis the key technology which involved in the two control systems. By analysising the uncoiling diameter, this dissertation calculated the speed curve corresponding to different diameter, which can achieve pseudo flexible manufacturing, also deduced the relationship between uncoiling speed and the height of dance roll, thereby maintaining the constant line speed during the uncoiling section. Then, by timing analysis of the looper movement, this dissertation puts forward that different uncoiling diameter corresponding to different sleeve roller group timing action, which can make sure that the unit operating continuous without stopping.Finally, based on the thought of SIEMENS Totally Integrated Automation (TIA), a complete control system is composed with PLC and HMI, by the configuration and integration of uncoiling and looper control system. The meaning of the integrated system satisfied the efficient radiator’s technology demand and it is also easy to monitor, saving human resources, and improving the production efficiency.
