With the continuous development of industrial technology and testing technology, test systems are constantly updated. Due to the complexity and diversity of test objects constantly improving, the traditional test systems can not meet the requirements of the test. Modern test systems combine computer technology, sensor technology, network technology, virtual instrument technology and database technology to achieve more complex test functions, and they have faster processing speed, more standard and stable means of communication and more accurate and intuitive display of data.Actuator test system is developed and designed to testing performance, measuring and calibrating for electric actuators. It is powerful and easy to operate. It can be widely used in many areas of life and production, and it can effectively improve quality and operational reliability of electric actuators. The article describes in detail the design ideas and achieving methods of the actuator:est system, and it is a summary of the test system development and design work.Firstly,the design ideas and the overall design framework of the actuator est system are proposed.Then several major components of the actuator test system,such as the monitoring and control machine,the industrial personal computer, pneumatic load unit, power supply system and so on,are described simply.Finally the test functions and operational processes of the actuator test system are descriped in detail.The hardware design is the basis for the design of the entire actuator test system. This article first describes in detail the design principles of the main control circuit board,analog signal acquisition and processing module,and backplane circuit of the monitoring and control machine,and shows their circuit schematics.After that,describes the selection and function of the pneumatic brakes,the torque sensors,the solenoid valves and other components of the Pneumatic load cell.Finally,describes the design principle of strong and weak power systems of the test system and gives their circuit schematics,at the same time makes a simple description of their function.The lower computer program design of the actuator test system includes mainly the analog input and output modules,the serial communication modules,the peripheral driver modules,the equipment protection modules,the device control modules,the data encoding module, and the torque control module.Firstly,the general flowchart of the lower computer program is given,then the program design ideas and principles of the analog input and output modules,the serial communication modules,the peripheral driver modules,and the torque control module are described in detail, meanwhile the program flow charts of each module are given too. This article also describes the PC software design of the actuator test system.Above all, the test function of the host computer monitoring software and the test system’s operating environment and interface are described.Next,the PC software implementation is introduced and the program flow charts are given.Last,some functional test interfaces of the host computer monitoring software are given,at the same time the test results of the actuator test system are analyzed and summarized to verify the rationality of the system design.In addition, the shortcomings of the test system at the present stage are indicated,and the solutions to the problems are proposed.
