With the rapid development of the nuclear industry,wide application of radioactivematerial,the nuclear radiation problems are caused by social high attention.the traditionaldevices of nuclear radiation monitoring have high power consumption,it is difficult to dothe effective monitoring for the target area,small coverage, maintenance difficulties,expe-nsive cost,wireless transmission is not stability,and nodes have low degree of intelligence.Therefore, wireless nuclear radiation monitoring technology is more and more caused theattention of people. This paper studies the low power technology of β ray monitoringinterface and topological control algorithm based on wireless sensor network.In order to realize low power of wireless monitoring by nuclear radiation monitoringdevices,this paper designed a kind of low power device based on wireless sensor netw-orks for β ray monitoring interface.This device included microcontroller, wireless trans-ceiver, information storage, peripheral clock and power management module.It connectedtoβ ray monitoring device by UART interface to realize stability wireless transmissionand get β ray’s does real-time data,to achieve the purpose of remote monitoring.Thispaper uses optimal cluster selection algorithm,prediction mechanism and time slicescheduling to improve LEACH algorithm,it aimed to slove node dump energy,doublecounting of electing cluster and transmission distance.the improved algorithm through thesimulation tests show that network node energy has been obviously saved, lower the sendnode’s energy consumption,delay the first death node for appearing,at the same time thelife cycle of the system is also effectively extension.Finally, on the basis of solving thekey problems, this paper designs a β ray monitoring system based on wireless sensornetwork, the system includes three parts of β ray wireless monitoring network whichincludes many monitoring devices of β ray,sink nodes,center gateway and monitoringmanagement software.At last, the result of this system’s test showed that β raymonitoring system based on wireless sensor network can automatic form a wireless monitoring network and acquire real-time data from monitoring area and low poweroperation,it could effectively achieve the goal of remote monitoring and control.
