Hospital information is an inevitable requirement for health development and theurgent need for deepening medical reform in China, it is an important way to achieveuniversal access to basic health services target.Hospital office automation system is an integrated information system, whichsupports comprehensive office business for the hospital. It had integrated the hospitalstaff, business processes, information, organization, office automation technology andequipment. The main target of Hospital office automation system is to create electroniccollaborative office atmosphere; comprehensive deployment of existing hospitalinformation resources, documents and electronic integrated management; standardizeworking methods; improving efficiency and reducing costs.According to the developing status and trend of hospital online office automationsystem, based on SAAS soft design methodology and B/S model, the thesis designs andbuilds a hospital online office automation system, which use technologies such asdatabases and XML. This system includes doctor workstation, surgical management,drug administration, dean integrated query and analysis, materials management,financial management and economic accounting part.Finally, the accomplished results have been given, and the running effect andexisting problems have been evaluated and analyzed. The thesis also gives the measuresand suggestions for further improvement.
