The Design And Development Of Police Rank Promotion Exam And Student Registration Management System

With the popularization of computer application and promotion, onlineexamination as part of the informatization construction of the Public Security Bureauhas played an important role in police training examination. Using the idea of softwareengineering and object-oriented method, the paper designed a police rank promotionexaminations and school management system which could meet customer’s demand andconvenience for later maintenance.The police rank promotion examinations and school management system isdesigned to provide a comprehensive solution for the police access, a big workload inthe revising and marking work, a waste of police, result not open in time, assessmentknowledge is not enough average, not remote test problems, which effectively reduceand avoid the human error in the marking work, improve the accuracy, fairness in themarking work; Avoid resources and human waste in the work as the same informationrepeatedly collection and statistics, avoid the problem of manual managementregistration, such as low efficiency, error prone, easily lost, improve the data sharing,and avoid duplication. The designed system including three categories: teaching,examination, and the foundation, and there are14function modules: remote application,teaching plan and course arrangement, instructor management, teaching resourcesmanagement, teaching materials management, examination management, networkexamination, performance management, mobile exam, similar item inspection, gatewaymanagement, item pool management, students’ registration management, system tools.The system also has basic data dictionary maintenance, intelligent and strongcomprehensive query functions.Overall,this paper first introduces the main technology used to development thepolice ranks promotion exam and student registration management system, includingthe workflow technology, B/S structure, AJAX technology, Ext JS frame, asp.netplatform, relational database technology, GIS technology, mobile office technology;Secondly, it conducts the requirement analysis of online exam system, describes theobjectives and tasks of the system and common functions, and by the way of UML modeling language constructs the system of the use case diagram and the activitydiagram, which realize the system requirement by particular and decomposition. Basedon the finished demand analysis, the online exam system was being designed, includingthe function module and database design. Then, this paper describes the realization ofthe mobile exam function. Finally, through the summary of the main work, the paperillustrates the existing deficiencies and the future development.
