With the development of Electronic Science and Technology, the applications ofmotion capture technology are more widely in the fields such as film and televisionanimation, interactive games, and medical rehabilitation, showing great market potential.After the Analysis of human motion capture technology development present situation,this paper discusses the design and implementation of the human motion capture devicebased on body sensor networks. Based on the micro sensor, and with the combination ofwired and wireless communication mode, the motion capture device completes thereal-time data acquisition, preprocessing and aggregate transmission, the data areproduced by each of the key parts of the human body in the process of human motion,and through a simple human body motion capture experiment, real-time human motioninformation capture was realized.The motion capture device is composed of15sensor nodes and a sensor dataaggregation node. Sensor node consists mainly of a triaxial acceleration sensor,three-axis gyroscope and3-axis geomagnetic sensor, it is used to collect andpretreatment the motion data on the key parts of the human body; the data aggregationnode mainly includes a data acquisition part and a data transmitting part, it read themotion data of each sensor through wired respectively, and sent to the host computer bywireless means after rollup package. All the motion capture hardware devices form astar sensor network. In this paper, a bit of work below has been done.1.Studies the working principle and performance parameters of the sensor chip,based on the body sensor network framework and the overall design ideas, finish thedetailed design of the motion capture device communication, power supply, as well asbattery management circuit, carry out a detailed schematic design, PCB design of thesensor nodes and data aggregation node which need to be deployed on the human bodyby a long time.2.This paper analyses the error may exist in the sensor chip of the sensor nodesand propose different solution on the basis of error analysis, such as the data jitter anddeviation of acceleration sensor, the cumulative error of the gyroscope, and the geomagnetic sensor is easily influenced by the surrounding environment. Detaileddesign of the motion capture device software, particularly the data transfer process,make sure that the correct sensor data collection and transmission by setting the dataframe and the parity bit.3.Analysis of the position requirements of sensor nodes deployed on the humanbody, finish the sensor data fusion treatment experiment of human motion capture andoutput the quaternion representation of sensor data. Complete the initializationcalibration and the real-time calibration of character model in the course of campaign byusing the sensor data, achieve the target of human motion capture.In this paper, we verify that the design principle of the motion capture device iscorrect and that the device’s work performance is stable and reliable by a single sensornode detect and a human motion capture experiment, we provide a complete set ofhardware platform for the subsequent algorithm of human motion capture.
