Human motion capture technology has been developing rapidly since it was born, and has been widely used in the field of virtual reality, human-computer interaction, film and television production, etc. During the development process of motion capture technology, there has been mechanical, magnetic, acoustic, optical and inertial motion capture system. In recent years, Micro-electromechanical System(MEMS) technology has become increasingly mature, the inertial motion capture system based on MEMS sensor research has become a hot spot because of its small volume, low power consumption, low cost, etc. Inertial motion capture system mainly includes three parts: Data acquisition front-end, network data transmission and data processing back-end. Its principle is continuously capturing human motion information through the inertial sensor placed on human body and transmitting the data to data processing back-end to complete the body attitude algorithm. In existing inertial motion capture techniques, the power consumption of the data acquisition front-end is high and system range is poor; Many transmission method adopts cable data transmission and transmission line is complex, so it affect user experience heavily. Therefore, an inertial motion capture system based on Bluetooth low energy is designed in this article and it can capture the body movements.(1) An inertial motion capture system data transmission scheme is proposed based on the analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of existing inertia motion capture system at home and abroad and further study of Bluetooth low energy technology. The data of acquisition node is transmitted by Bluetooth wireless communication technology solves the problem of the poor experience of user and it can reduce power consumption.(2) Complete the overall architecture design of inertial motion capture system and the hardware and software design of data acquisition and data transmission module. Aiming at the MEMS sensor's measurement error and drift problem, this article uses the sliding window filtering algorithm to preprocess nine axis sensor data and uses data fusion algorithm based on Kalman filter to estimate attitude.(3) The method of constructing the data transmission network via Bluetooth low energy technology is studied, a data transmission network which is applicable to the inertial motion capture system and the design of the network topology structure and communication protocols are achieved, and the network performance is tested and analyzed.This article complete the construction of the whole capture system, and test the main module and the whole system. Test results verify the accuracy of attitude algorithm and the reliability of data transmission. The whole system can capture human motion better. The achievements of this article has higher reference value for the subsequent research.
